Keri began crafting at the age of 4, while helping her mother with her Creative Circle business, a home based business to teach women different needlecraft. (Think Tupperware for crafts) A lifelong love of sewing and teaching was born.Keri attended the esteemed Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York City and received her BA. Years later, FIT tapped Keri to help create and teach new course curriculum to bring their degrees up to date with fashion industry practices.After implementing technology and streamlining business process at dozens of fashion houses and apparel companies around the world, Keri joined the Ralph Lauren organization as Programs Manager to implement a Product Data Management (PDM/PLM) system throughout the global organization.While at Ralph Lauren, Keri learned the art of hand knitting from Fran Miskin, the Vice President of Sweater Design. Keri became obsessed with knitting and went on to design and create hand knits. Leaving no crafts untouched, Keri has been scrapbooking for twenty years and has continued her sewing education with classes in quilting for the past four years, in addition to dabbling in all sorts of crafts with her kids.
